We’ve always been committed to savings, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to reassure customers that nothing had changed—we’d continue to work hard to find them the lowest rate, even if it’s not with us.

To tell this story, we created a nostalgic TV spot that harkened back to our roots.

In only eight days, we created a spot using 11 pieces of archived content to showcase the 11 years that Flo and the Superstore gang have been in people’s living rooms. Our budget? $0. From concept to script writing, editing, and sound mixing, the entire spot was done in-house—including voiceover from our very own CEO.

And because we like to leverage “funny because it’s true” humor, we even poked a little bit of fun at ourselves.
